    Wordpress 5.3
    Coblocks 1.17.1

In the recent WordPress Core update and Coblocks, the Posts block using stacked style no longer group in columns and instead stack above each other.

Also disappointed to see that max columns are capped at 3 now. Did try with the default theme as well with same results.

    Hi @hebhiker,

This issue has been brought to our attention and we have a fix for the issue where stacked style does not properly group into columns. We have the issue reported here: https://github.com/godaddy/coblocks/issues/1129

As far as a cap on columns, its not a hard cap of 3 columns. The cap is 4 for stacked style and two for horizontal style OR the amount of posts that are queued, whichever is lower. If you are only able to set the columns to 3 then this indicates that you would have only 3 posts published. Please beware that another issue with columns on the horizontal style has been reported here:
    https://github.com/godaddy/coblocks/issues/1130

I will circle back here and let you know when we are able to get these fixes deployed.

    Best regards,

    Anthony

Both issues I raised are listed on 1129/1130 so that’s fine.

In relation to the column cap, I thought it had been reduced to 3 (you can’t select more than 2 regardless of viewable posts) but it appears it’s related to the issues in 1130 so I’ll mark this as resolved.
