Posts are shown in full length instead of an excerpt

  • Hello, I am using the Baskerville 2 theme on my self hosted page and I am almost done customizing and setting up my blog. Now I tried writing my first post, but whenever I create one, it shows the full post on every page, even my home page.
    I tagged the box under reading -> for each post in a feed include excerpt, but it doesn’t do anything. I have found someone with a similar issue but no real solution.
    I don’t mind modifying the theme either, if someone has a solution to this I would be happy as I don’t really want to pick another theme and start from zero.

    Hi @quayraza,

    The theme called “Baskerville 2” is the WordPress.com version of Baskerville, which is maintained by the WordPress.com theme wrangler team and has a different codebase than the www.remarpro.com Baskerville theme which this support forum is for.

    I’d recommend you to reach out to WordPress.com support for help with Baskerville 2.
