    Hello,

First of all, thank you so much for this plugin. It’s been helping me a lot.

It is also working great, but I’ve found an odd thing.

All my CPT which are published, appear in the admin listing as “scheduled”. When I click on “quick edit” and then on the “status” dropdown menu, the “published” status is not even there.

    Here’s a screenshot: https://laly.blog/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Screen-Shot-2023-08-27-at-04.54.59.png

Everything works fine with my CPTs except for that. I am very worried because I was about to launch a series of guides, and I am afraid something could be terribly wrong.

    Please, help!

    Thank you so much

First real guess I have is perhaps a permissions detail with the user? Potentially a user that isn’t able to publish posts? Not sure if you’ve done anything with roles/capabilities or touched the capabilities part of post type registration.

I didn’t touch the plugin… I installed it probably six months ago, and the CPT worked just fine

What has changed elsewhere on the site, that could potentially contribute to this?

To rule out some things, have you tried with a different administrator level user?

I have two admins, same level… (it’s just me)

I just checked on my local host and it’s also happening there. (I have no other plugins on my local host)

If you provide the export code from CPTUI > Tools > Post Types tab, I can import and see if I can recreate the issue on my own install, but beyond that, I’m not sure what may be going on with this, and I don’t have access to the install to poke around for other clues.

    Sure!

    Thank you so much

Sort of able to recreate parts of what you’re saying, but I am wondering if this is expected behavior. For example when I scheduled one, the quick edit didn’t let me change to published, but when i did the full editor, I was able to change the scheduled time back to “now” and fully publish then.

    Thread Starter Laly York

    (@lalyry)

That is what I did to check they were published.

I just checked on the WP posts, and I see the same. On my drafts, pending and etc, the quick edit doesn’t have the “published” option.

    This is very odd…

So it’s affecting more than just the types registered with CPTUI? Interesting.
