Posts are not showing up on blog page

  • I have tried activating other themes. Not the answer.

    When reading is pointed at a specific landing page with blog posts going to blog page then it shows up. But when reading goes to Posts first, if I navigate to another page then go back to my blog page, it is gone. So like now if you go to up2unique.com you will go right to my posts (blog) page. But if you navigate to another page and then try to go to Random thoughts (blog) page, nothing is there.

    I have also tried deactivating plugins and reactivating. No go.

  • Your front (same as home) page (up2unique.com) and Random Thoughts are two different pages. 1) When in Reading you set your front page to go to posts, then they will not show up on Random Thoughts. 2) If on the other hand you set your front page to go to a static page called Random Thoughts, they will show up there.

    There is no way to show all your posts in 2 different places out of the box on WordPress, for the simple reason that it isn’t a good idea to duplicate content.

    @firefly2000 – Thanks so much for the quick response. That makes sense – I just get to reading all the different stuff on wordpress and it is very overwhelming! Thanks again!
