Posts are not excluded – revisited

The not working one is:

[jeherve_post_embed url=https://gastrobrains.de wpapi=true include_title=false include_excerpt=false include_content=true tag=conduct]

This works well for me right now.

On gastrobrains.de i have added a page in category=Rechtliches and set the tag to conduct.

You don’t need that specific category, it will pick up from the tag as long as the post remains available with that tag.

May there be a problem when using more of the shortcodes on a site?

No, you can use the shortcodes as many times as you want within a post and within a site, there are no limits there.

If you still experience issues, it may be caused by caching issues on one site or the other. I’d recommend trying to flush your cache on both sites.

I’ve opened it in an other browser (chrome now, firefox before). I’ve cleared browser caches. I do not have any cache plugins in both wordpress sites. Browsing to https://onlinespeisekarte.com/code-of-conduct/ still shows me all posts of that category.

The category is just for organisational reasons. As i understand it doesn’t matter if i keep the posts in or not.

That’s interesting. I can’t reproduce the problem on my end right now, when embedding the post from your site on a test site of mine. It makes me wonder if you use a plugin that may impact transients on https://onlinespeisekarte.com. Transients are how WordPress can store some data on your site, as explained here.

You could try to install a plugin like this one, and use it to delete all transients that start with jeherve_post_embed on your site.
