Posts are not displaying page Parent

How are you assigning the ‘parent’ for the post? The built in Post post type is non-hierarchical. Thus, for the ‘Post Parent’ option value to do something meaningful additional code to setup a parent<->child relationship with that post type and other posts (e.g. Pages, Posts, Custom Post Types) is required. Something like Post Parents ( https://github.com/mtekk/Post-Parents ) will provide a mechanism for having posts (of varying types) be the children of a Page.
