Posts are linked to old URL

  • I’m reading your information here and it say in nice red letters – “GUIDs for posts should only be changed on development sites”

    My issue is I just changed the URL of my site and all is nicely linked to the new URL except the Blog. It’s reverting to the old URL when clicking on posts. I checked the Database and posts and the GUIDs for all the posts are still using the old URL. This site is not in development and I need to get this back up and running. What is your advice?

    I’m just reading my last comment and let me better explain what’s going on. I had a website that needed to be re-done, I hosted a new dev site with a temporary domain. The dev site is completed and I moved the domain from the old site to the new site. The problem I’m having is that the images for all the blog posts are taking forever to load because (from what I can see) they are still using the temporary dev domain. I checked the GUID column and sure enough the dev domain is being used. I want to get the GUID back to the old domain, can I just pull the trigger using your plugin?
