Posts appearing on Site yet *NOT* in WP admin!

  • Hello – Upgraded to newest WP version yesterday and with that many of my posts disappeared from admin. However, they do appear fine online. If you go to link below, all posts on Projects section of site were previously IN admin. Clearly they exist somewhere, just not sure how to retrieve. I can see all associated keywords in admin (along w/ number of posts linked to keywords).

    Any ideas how this might have happen and how I can reverse?

  • In all posts do you have it set to view all categories?

    Yes!
    Strange thing is when I go to “Tags,” I see all the tags the missing posts are associated with along with the number of posts next to them (ex: Exhibitions: 7 posts). When I click on “7,” it takes me back to “Posts” section and there’s nothing there.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Hmm..
    – No plugins active at the moment.
    – I fear going to default and not being to switch back. Could that happen?
    – Don’t have access to server so will have to request…

    You change themes in the dashboard under appearance/themes.
    There would be nothing to stop you from switching back. Make sure your theme is also in appearance/themes.

    I can see in Style.CSS file the current theme is based on WP 2011. Should I switch to Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve?

    Twenty Eleven. You have a custom theme so there is no way for me to know anything about it. And there is some sort of plugin here,
