• Hi all,

I’m new to the WP forums, but have used WP for years now. I started a new church site and can’t figure out why posts on the main page are enclosed in other posts.

It’s difficult to describe, but easy to show: https://wspc.ca. The title of the second post on the page is inserted into the first post.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Steve.

  • Sounds like there is a /div missing somewhere. Or you can try putting in a clear in the index template. You can use the firefox plugin ‘firebug’ to help isolate the problem a little easier.

    hope that helps

Thanks. I thought about the missing /div, but it validates fine. I’ll try putting a clear in the index and see what happens.

The site looks fine in IE7 unless I don’t understand. Each post is standing alone with their own title.

    kmessinger,

Thanks for the observation. I can’t believe it, but it displays properly in ie7, and poorly in firefox! For some reason, the post titled “Our Role in God’s Kingdom Part 5” appears inside the content of the following post.

The problem hasn’t happened since, so I guess I’ll just hope it doesn’t happen again.
