Posts appear in Google within minutes, pages don’t

  • Within minutes of adding a post to the blog, I can “search” Google for specific words within the title of the post and it will normally appear in the first page of results, normally at or near the top. This does not happen with pages that I add. They just don’t seem to appear at all in searches.

    Last night I added Simple Tags plugin to see if that helped, I added a few relevant tags to some pages, but that doesn’t seem to make a difference.

    I’m running 2.9.2 with theme R755. Modifications are minimal. I’ve been reading through many posts but cannot find any answers.

    Any ideas, anybody?
