Posts and Comments missing from individual post pages

    Since the upgrade I have been unable to access individual post pages and comments. The posts are showing on the home page, but when click I get a blank page in Firefox, or page not found in Opera and Chrome.

    I also tried to publish a page to let my readers know that I was having problems, and while the post appears on the front page, the title is missing and in its place is the title ‘Auto Draft’.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    Yeah tried deactivating all plugins, as I originally had a plugin problem which I managed to resolve by deactivating then reinstalling one by one. I haven’t tried switching to original theme. I’ll give that a try first.

    Ok, I’ve tried switching to the default theme, but that didn’t work either.

    Deactivate all plugins again. Also try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting & deleting your root WP .htaccess file. If that works, then set your custom permalink structure back up again.
