Posts after the most recent are not formatted

hi,

i just realized something occurring on my blog. the most recent post is formatted correctly, but then every subsequent one ignores all formatting rules. this is only on the main page, if i click into the single post it’s formatted fine. i made a bunch of test posts to confirm this (since deleted), but you can see it on the posts that are there. things like css and the “More” links just simply are thrown away…
it’s a site for a podcast, so on each post you can see the audio player, but on the subsequent posts, the link under the player for example-

-is missing. it only shows on that most recent post. on the posts after the recent one, it shows the audio player, above it says “Share and enjoy” (from the plugin Sociable) and underneath the player it says it again and shows the actual Sociable links. (i tried disabling sociable to see if it was the cause of all this and it wasn’t. it just removed the links and the title).
anyone have any idea what the cause could be?
