Posts 404 not found when Bulletproof Security activated

    When I activate BP Security none of my post links work anymore – 404 page errors.

    Changing permalinks back to default makes them work again and deleting the htaccess file, then changing permalinks back to the desired ‘post name’ forces a new htaccess to be created – but BPS is then no longer activated.

    How do I activate this plugin without killing all mu post links?

    I am also running the free Sucuri plugin.

    Are you clicking the correct Create secure.htaccess File AutoMagic button for your website type before activating BulletProof Modes?

    BPS setup steps:

    1. Click the AutoMagic buttons on the Security Modes page.
    2. Activate Root and wp-admin BulletProof Modes on the Security Modes page.
    3. Go to the Login Security page and choose your Login Security options and click the Save Options buttons.
    4. Setup complete.
