%postname% permalink of old posts not generating

  • I ported my site from Mybb to WordPress. Now the problem in permalink I am facing is: they works fine except the %postname%.
    It do not generate any permalink for the old posts I ported into wp database by query however when I publish a new post it generates is %postname% permalink.
    However, numeric permalinks are working fine for both old & new posts so there might be some problem with posts I ported in wp database. Please help me out to fix this problem.
