    Hello,

This is the first time I use Pods, so I dont know exactly how to troubleshoot this issue.

We used a temporary domain for a website refresh, and now that the WP installation was changed from new.domain.com to domain.com, Pods meta fields dont seem to be able to take new contents.

I can edit a post, change its values, change Pods fields values and save. After refreshing, the WP content is changed, yet the Pods meta is still the old.

I did a DB find/replace as is typical with the tool “better search replace” to change any “new.domain.com” to “domain.com”. Nothing else changed.

Here are a few things I tested so far, to no change:
    – Edited the pod to re-save the custom meta
    – Tried both options in Settings->Tools

What could the issue be here?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @paulherrmann

This almost sounds like a cache issue. I follow the same procedure, also using Better Search Replace, without issues many times.

Did you try to clear the Pods cache as well? And are you using any other type of caching?

    Cheers, Jory

    Hey Jory,

Thanks for your reply. I tried clearing the cache and also object caching is currently disabled. Frontend cache is active but this is backend. Very strange.

Just heard from my client that it only applies to posts (blog) and not other post types.
Do you have any idea why it wouldnt work? (Sorry if this is some banal issue, I normally use ACF and am very new to Pods.)

    Hi @paulherrmann

Did you check for plugin conflicts? https://docs.pods.io/faqs/plugin-theme-conflicts/

And do you see any console errors?

    Cheers, Jory
