I have Postman SMTP installed on another site hosted by lunarpages and set it up TJ76.thehudsons.com in the same way. Unfortunately, I don’t recall what I did differently to make it work on the other site.

    I get two errors:

    • Postman is not configured and is mimicking out-of-the-box WP email delivery
    • Message From Address cannot be empty

The Message from Address is NOT empty.

When I try the connectivity test, SMTP Port 587—which is the port lunarpages says I should use—it won’t connect.

    What am I missing?

    Thanks,
    Patty

    Hi @fiberlyone,

You’ve probably moved on but hopefully this helps others that come across this issue as I just ran into it myself.

During set-up through the All Options you have to switch to the Message tab which is where you’ll find the From Address field which is required.

It’s not very intuitive as it’s hidden under another tab so is easily missed during set-up.

Hope that helps someone else coming across this topic.

    Cheers

    Thanks, Garrett.

You’re right, I have moved on, but it’s good to have the information for future reference.
