The post to LinkedIn feature has stopped working for me, I have gone through the checklist and everything seems to be in place.

When I press the share now link I can see that I’m receiving a 500 Internal server error.

    500 (Internal Server Error) admin-ajax.php

I have disabled a few plugins to see if I can find the issue but no luck so far

    Hi @iant9,

I am sorry this issue is occurring. I am not sure what the issue could be in this instance and I am unable to repeat it on my end with the same kind of conditions as your diagnostic info. I haven’t received any reports of this issue yet, so I will need to see if there are other reports. For extended support, I recommend checking out the pro version: AutoSocial https://northernbeacheswebsites.com.au/autosocial/

    Hi @northernbeacheswebsites.

I will investigate further, the plug in has been working fine for quite a while and I’m hesitant to go “Pro” whilst in this situation.

    Hi @iant9,

The advantage of the pro version is that it will give me more resources to resolve the issue and it also has a functionality guarantee, so if it doesn’t work as advertised you get a full refund.

    Hi @northernbeacheswebsites

I deactivated all plug inns and changed to a default WP theme but I still encounter the issue.

I will look at the Pro version as a solution.

    Thanks

@iant9 Can you please go to the Help tab, and then the question: I am still having issues with the plugin, what can I Do? and then paste in the log in your reply.

    Hi @northernbeacheswebsites

    Here is my log information

    [ SNIP! ]

I can see that when I press Share now on a recent post I’m seeing the “Failed to load resource wp-admin/admin-ajax.php” and the log doesn’t show the recent attempt to post to LinkedIn.

    Thanks
    Ian

Please do not post large code or responses like that here, it doesn’t work after ~10 lines or so.

If you need share that data please use https://gist.github.com/ or https://pastebin.com/ or the like instead and post the link to that paste.

    Hi @iant9,

Sorry I didn’t realise the issue with the long code block, I will note that for next time.

Have you checked the post is not actually on LinkedIn? Because if I am understanding the log correctly, you are getting a 201 status which means it should be published.

    Hi @northernbeacheswebsites

Yes I’ve checked and there not posting to LinkedIn.

When I press post to LinkedIn nothing appears in the log for that trigger.

    Thanks

    Hi @iant9,

Ok, thank you for the update on this. I will look into it and see if I can reproduce. Unfortunately because of how the forums are designed I can only provide limited and peripheral support for the free version of the plugin. If you would like more extensive support for the issue and a functionality guarantee, I would recommend checking out the AutoSocial plugin here: https://northernbeacheswebsites.com.au/autosocial/

    Thanks,

I, too am having difficulties getting the plugin to share my blog posts with LinkedIn. I’ve deactivated all plugins, changed to the default theme, and the “sharing…Please wait…” remains forever after hitting the “SHareNow” button. I’ve cleared caches, deactivated/reactivate, and uninstalled/reinstalled the plugin. THe log information is not showing my recent attempts to share either. Please help!
