• If I edit a reusable block in the page where all the reusable blocks are listed (you can get there by the options of a reusable block, or yourwebsite/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wp_block ), it seems OK. as I place that reusable block in a page still OK, but as soon as I save that page (and block), the content of the reusable block on the page and in the list becomes blank. So posting the reusable block blanks it content.
Anyone on how to progress. You see the problem? ??
I cannot understand that no-one is bothering about this ??
Or is there some specific reason we get this error?

    Hey @hansbeen

I am using a beta version of WordPress 5.8.
    The theme Twenty Twenty One.
Gutenberg plugin 10.9.0 activated. (I also tried without the Gutenberg plugin active.)

I am now following the procedure from what you are saying.
Going to a page/post. Clicking the top blue inserter icon. Selecting Reusable blocks tab. Going to the bottom of the tab and click “Manage Reusable blocks”

It opens the Reusable blocks screen.
I edit a Reusable block. Click Update.
Go to a page. Insert the edited Reusable block. Click update. Click View Page.
I see the edited Reusable block in place on the frontend.

First. Try testing this with a default theme. Such as Twenty Twenty One.
    Then deactivate all plugins.
The reason to do so is that the theme or plugins you use might affect how this is working. Switching the theme and turning off all the plugins will show if any of these things are affecting the Reusable blocks.

Do a similar test using a beta version of WordPress. (Install and activate the beta tester plugin). Then try with one of the default themes.
