Posting not working, Pages disappeared

  • So I’ve got a blog running in WordPress 2.1 which has been working just fine for about 1 year. All of a sudden, when we try to post, we can edit the new post, but once we actually try to publish it, the screen goes to white and nothing happens. In addition, pages that we had, like the “About” page, have suddenly disappeared. Has anyone seen something similar to this? Any suggestions? Is it a matter of upgrading to the latest WP? I know we’re running a prehistoric version but everything was working and we didnt have time to tinker ??

  • because youre running a version of wordpress that can be exploited with nothing more than the ability to copy and paste…

    you out to assume the worst, and find the time to take care of your site properly — which includes, btw, keeping up with security updates. If you cant, maybe you should consider using static HTML or finding someone to the do the “Tinkering” for you ar a cost.
