Posting happens, but I recieve an error..

  • I tried searching for this, but I wasn’t quite sure as to what I should search for, and the stuff I did try didn’t get any decent results, so I guess I have to try and ask.

    If I write a post, and then post it without having saved it first, everything’s fine.. But if I write it, press “Save and continue writing” and then decide to publish it after that, the post is published, but I get a long error message:
    The requested URL /wordpress/wp-admin/<div id='error'> <p class='wpdberror'><strong>WordPress database error:</strong> [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') ORDER BY post_id, meta_key' at line 1]<br /> SELECT post_id, meta_key, meta_value FROM wp_postmeta WHERE post_id IN() ORDER BY post_id, meta_key </div>https://tykjpelk.net/wordpress/wp-admin/post.php was not found on this server.

    What could be wrong? I haven’t touched the files lately, so I don’t know what has happened.

  • I’m no database expert but I’ll try and help: is this happening with only one post?? or can you replicate it all the time??

    I have almoust the same problem, saving the post saves it, but i get an error:

    I don’t know, why it is tryink to look in the /web/georgo/… directory.

    johnoz: I can replicate it. Write + save + publish = Published, but with error message. Write + publish = Success.

    Sorry for not answering sooner, my blog kinda temporarily died because I’ve been busy.

    Edit: Info, if needed.. The domain in question is https://tykjpelk.net. PHP info from the host: https://www.dcvhost.no/phpinfo.php (not sure if it’s relevant or not)

    I have the same problem.

    I have the problem too. Infact I have other problems I can’t understand.
