• I am brand new to WordPress. Just downloaded version 4.6 and am trying it out. Everything is working well, except I can’t schedule a post for a set time in the future. On the page for the post, it says something like “Scheduled for: 18 Aug 2016 @ 10:52”, but even though it is after that time, there is no new post on my page. Everything I read seems to stop after inputting the date and time and clicking update, and it says nothing about whatever other steps I need to take before or after to make sure that the post runs as scheduled.

What else do I need to do in order to have my post run at a certain time?

In Settings -> General, check that you have selected and applied the correct time zone for your site.

The time zone was set correctly. I even tried changing it into a different time zone just to check, and it still will not work properly.

I believe I had it correct before, but just to make sure, I followed each step in the video one-by-one, and still no post.
