• Hi,
My understanding was that publishing a back dated post would not trigger the Cron Job, I tested it a couple of weeks ago and it worked. An older article was posted on the site today, and the notification was sent to subscribers. Would appreciate if you could let me know how to prevent this from happening again (I know I can delete the job in the report but would find it much more elegant if the plugin were able to match today’s date against the post date)
    Many thanks
    Gilda

    Hi,

Some people wants this feature as somebody who published post and found some error into it and wants to rectify quickly and again republish it.

So, in this scenario they want to delete older notification and want to send notification with newer post.

But, we can understand your views as well. We will work on it and find out a solution to it.

Thank you Malay for your quick answer, would appreciate very much if you could let me know when and if you have a fix.

But I can really understand that finding an old post published elsewhere and posting it is different from editing/updating an old post and wanting subscribers to be aware of the corrections.

    Cheers

    Gilda
