Postie with Multisite Network

    Hi there,

    I just have a general question while thinking about a new project.

    The idea is to setup a WP Multisite network with (hopefully) a few hundred sites whereas each site should not have an individual admin user rather the whole thing should only be managed by the Network Admin (Me). I envision allowing folks who belong to any given site to publish content via Postie. So my questions are

    1. Does Postie work with a Multisite Installation as a Network enabled Plugin?
    2. Would it be possible to post content to a any given site based on only an authorized Email Address? Or would I need a site admin user for that? Ornot possible at all?

    Any hints on whether I could get this kind of setup going would be very much appreciated.

    Yes Postie works with multisite.

    If all the subsites are checking the same email account then it will not work as the first subsite to check the email will delete the email.

    You would need to set up a separate email account for each subsite.
