    Generic Postie doesn’t know anything about shortcodes, it just passes them along to WordPress. The Postie Shortcode AddOn adds shortcodes specific to Postie and isn’t needed unless you want that functionality.

    So the short answer is that you can continue to use shortcodes as before.
