Postie rejects emails from users in authorized list

Hi, this started happening recently on all sites where we’re using the Postie plugin. I have a list of users in the authorized user box. Users that were added over approx. a month ago can still post. Recently added users are getting rejected with “Unauthorized Post Attempt from xuser An unauthorized message has been sent to xsite.”
It seems that the functionality that allows those new people to be recognized as ‘admins’ is broken somehow. Is there maybe a hidden limit to how many emails you can have in the authorized users list that I’ve reached? I have five addresses listed
