Postie re-posting same message 2-6 times

    I was using postie (v1.9.40) and it worked well. Now I upgraded to (v1.9.50) and when I do a post now, it reposts it many times all right after one another, Im not sure why?

    Been using postie for 8 years, never seen this before. What would cause this, and how do I fix it or get Postie (v1.9.40) back?

    A few people have run into this and the fix was to switch from POP to IMAP.

    Downgrading to an older version of Postie won’t help as this is all about your email server.
