    Using 1.9.55

    Tried with tesst.kocvt.org using mail.kocvt.org

    fetch_mail: Connecting to mail.kocvt.org:993 (imap-ssl)
    pConnection: mailbox: INBOX
    Connecting via Socket
    Socket: tls://mail.kocvt.org:993
Socket error: 0 – php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known ()
fetch_mail: There was an error connecting to the server php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known

Trying to see if this plugin will work in our new website. Will donate if it does,

Thank you for looking at this. God Bless

Neither of these domains seem to exist according to https://mxtoolbox.com/

Well I went to mxtoolbox and ran the tests on mail.kofcvt.org and got a lot of errors. this is our hosting companies email server. Sunday I created an additional gmail address called sbknights7525Postie.gmail.com and tested this using the gmail protocals. I tested this with the mx tool just now and found very few errors. It was just missing a rejection policy(?)
So I retested with this and get the following.

    fetch_mail: Connecting to IMAP.gmail.com:993 (imap-ssl)
    pConnection: mailbox: INBOX
    Connecting via Socket
    Socket: tls://IMAP.gmail.com:993
Socket error: 110 – Connection timed out ()
fetch_mail: There was an error connecting to the server Connection timed out
    doing postie_session_end

I then tested this with the prefix recent: same results. God Bless Thank you for your insight!

Sounds like your hosting company doesn’t allow outbound connections on port 993 or you didn’t enable imap in Postie.

I thank you for your time today. My following submission was asking a different question using adifferent set-up.

I will look for another product at this point or just give-up.

    God Bless
