Postie functions.php

    i have postie installed some month ago and it worked always well.

    Since about 7 days, postie will not posting.
    To find the problem, i deactivated all other plugins, then i ran debug. But there is a fatal error: “Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded in /home/ebnother/www/solafide.ch/wp-content/plugins/postie/postie-functions.php on line 119”. Also with “Process email” and “Configuration test”

    What could be the reason for that?
