Postgrid enhancement request – Option to Sort by Category

    Hi
    For some post grid layouts I enable showing the Category. I would like to group the posts by Category. Thus on the Query setting I would like an option to sort by Category.

    Thanks a lot for using Qubely and contacting us. I think you have missed the category sorting option. Please check the Query section of the Post Grid block. I hope you will be able to find and use that now. You can check this screenshot also: https://prnt.sc/r3gtz8.

    My use case is a little different. I have queried on a Tag. This query leads to a dozen results. In the results (list of posts) I’m displaying the Category name, in addition to normal fields like Title and Read More button. I would like the dozen results to be sorted by Category name, ideally, Category then title. But, I’d start with just the ability to sort (Order) on Category name. Today Order has Title, Date, Random, Menu (FYI Menu does not preview for me, I just get the spinning icon). I use theme Twenty Twenty.

    I think I have got your point. You would like to filter your posts first by category and then sort your post on alphabetical order. Right? I’m sorry to inform you that we don’t have this feature right now. We have added this as a feature request. We will try to implement this in the future if we get more demand from our users.

    Can you please describe the spinning icon issue with a few screenshots or a video (if possible)? Hopefully, we will have a solution for you very soon.
