@wilensamanda While we continue to test in an attempt to replicate your issue, could you attempt to check if this issue persists when all other plugins are disabled and a default theme is activated?

To best simulate this, you can use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and enable its troubleshooting mode. This mode disables active plugins and switches to a default theme safely because it only affects the experience of the logged-in user.

– Please enable the Web Stories plugin and let me know if the issue is present.
– Enabling plugins and your theme one by one in this mode may help pinpoint if something else is involved.
– Note you can disable troubleshooting mode from the plugins page.`

Hi there! Yes, I tried this and it worked for the one issue. Looks like the Plugin messing with it is called “Conditionally display featured image on singular pages and posts” which I need for my site. Is there a way to use both? Thanks, Amanda

@wilensamanda happy to hear you were able to pinpoint which plugin was involved. You could try to contact their support for assistance on how to disable this option for Web Stories post type.
