Posted Jobs come in as Times New Roman instead of WP Theme font

And to clarify, when I say posted it is how it appears on our website once everything is complete (the page where we use the [jobs] short code. Thanks.

Are you saying the posted content, or the post listing as a whole? Have you made a test-listing yourself? And finally, do you have a link to your job submit form for me?

Just the posted listing. Everything other section retains the fonts/colors of my WP theme. I did a test twice myself where I went through the whole routine of posting and paying through PayPal. My test was like that as well.

Here is a link to what section it occurs in. I have already cleaned the fonts/colors on this through the admin, though, because I needed to correct it quickly. But the one on this link and the 2 tests I did through posting with the paid option came though with a Times New Roman fonts in the color black.

Can you open up access to the job posting form so I can see that? I have a hunch it may be wrapped in pre/code tags or something along those lines.

I simply added the word ‘Test’ and went to preview – there were no style tags or anything defining times fonts.

When you ‘removed formatting’ what exactly did you have to take out?

It’s the area in mine called Job description on the posting form. If you type or copy and paste plain text in that area and preview it looks fine.

But say, if you just copy and paste directly from a document into the Job description (which happens to to be in a serif font) – which is what most people will be doing, you can see it retained the serif font in the preview and when they complete the post it shows up in the actual job posting as a serif font. Does that make sense?
