Postage Overseas

    It appears that location based shipping is only available to US paypal accounts.

    I am based in the UK but am looking to ship overseas as well as in the UK. Clearly I need different shipping costs depending on what the destination is.

    I am wondering what other UK based users of this plugin have done to solve this issue?

    Unfortunately, this doesn’t fix my issue as I don’t believe that location based paypal is available in the UK ( although I’m happy to be proved wrong by anyone in the UK who has got it working )

    What I want to do is charge a fixed rate for UK shipping … that’s fine .. I can do that, but charge a fixed surcharge for overseas shipping.

    This could be achieved by a small enhancement to the plugin.

    1. Include a field called “Overseas Shipping Charge” in the settings
    2. If this is set, then in the shopping cart, as soon as a product is added to the cart, just below the normal fixed shipping charge, show an extra line with a checkbox which says “Apply overseas shipping” (configurable text) … and if the user ticks it, it adds the extra shipping charge otherwise it does not.
