First of all, thank you for this plug-in! Now I can use WooCommerce. ?? I only ship USPS.

I’m hoping someone here might be able to help. It is NOT this plugin causing the issue, but it is happening with it as well. It’s also happening with wp-ecommerce. I’ve even tried completely wiping my wordpress install and starting from scratch!

This is the problem I’m having:

1 item at 1 ounce is saying it costs $5.75 Priority to ship.

1 item at 1 pound is saying it costs $5.95 Priority to ship.

Add both items, and instead of calculating the cost at 1.1 pound which should be around $6.50, it’s adding both the above Priority costs together for a whopping $11.70.

Add another 1 ounce item and the shipping shoots to $17.25.

I can’t figure out why. It should not be occurring across two shopping carts (unless they both are using the same coding), and a fresh install should have repaired anything wrong.

Please help! I’m shut down until I can figure out what is happening.

  • Hi.
This is because the shipping cost of each item is calculated individually. Then the shipping cost of all items summed. This plugin is not provided to group the items from the cart by weight or volume.

Ah. Well then… That’s not going to work for my store. Thanks anyway.

Soon the ability to group the items by weight will be added. This is only for goods with small dimensions.
