post_views table is too large

  • why post_views table is too big) is now 100 MB. There is some correction to optimize this table. I have your free version plugin.

    Hi,

    That’s what Cleanup Interval option is for in that type of cases. If your DB capacity is limited set that option to 1 year, 3 months or 30 days or something that suites you. This will remove daily visits data older then specified. It will not touch total, yearly or monthly ones. It should be enough to make a significant difference as daily data is a vast majority of data stored.
