Post_URL not getting full value

When I use the hidden field and post_url option, it only gives me part of the url, i.e.
https://www.test.com/index.php/
and not the full url that is at the top of the page
https://www.test.com/index.php/?booking_id=FNFP-251113&total=457.00
Is there a way to get the full url with the variables in it?
