post_type permalinks, how to?

  • finally now we can set different templates for different posts, similar to how we could with categories.

    The trouble:

    The implementation ruins the url

    How to choose the format like in the “permalinks section”, or simply force it to use the already defined permalink settings?

    We selected the setting once, why not have it honor it by default instead of just making us use /post_type/post_name/, I dont want that.
