• When using post_template condition the custom field is shown in classic editor but it is not appearing in gutenberg. Fields and custom post types are working with gutenberg but obviously there is a problem with page templates.
    Is that a known issue?

  • Hi @msassmann,

    Sorry for the delay.

Yes, that is a known issue. The current version of Carbon Fields is designed to work as the default WordPress meta boxes but there are some changes which come with Gutenberg, so we can’t guarantee full compatibility of the current version (2.2) with Gutenberg.

The good news are that we’re working on a new version of Carbon Fields which will support Gutenberg as well.

    Thank you very much.
When will the new version be released?
    approximately ??

We believe that in December we will release version 3.0, which will support Gutenberg ??
