You may need to clear all caching from your plugin, theme, server, browser, or CDN such as Cloudflare.

Hey thanks Rumejan, of course all cache have been cleared. Problem still exists and you also didn’t explain the second problem.

    Thanks

If you disable and re-enable the XML sitemap from the Yoast SEO settings, does this resolves the issue?

In addition, we looked at your provided screenshot and we see the error is appearing on the page-sitemap.xml and not on the post_format-sitemap.xml.

This error typically occurs either due to the site cache or Google has an outdated cache of your site. We recommend you to clear all the caches from your site and resubmit the sitemap.

We have also looked at your page sitemap and we can confirm the sitemap is technically correct.

Hi Islam Khan and thanks for your message, however seems you confused my 2 problems.

1- Here you can see my sitemap link:
    https://www.ajibtarin.com/sitemap_index.xml

And here my settings for post_format:

As you can see I have disabled it, but still it is appearing in sitemap link. How can I remove it?

The other issue for page-sitemap is ok now, as it seems google needed time for recrawling and fixing it.

We see you’ve disabled the post_format archives, so it should be expected that it should be excluded from the XML Sitemap Index.

Can you please gather more information for us?
    1. Check for conflicts.
    2. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.
If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

Thanks, I found the issue, needed first to enable the post format and then select No for not showing in search results and then save. Then I disabled the post_format again, it didn’t reappear in the sitemap.

So simply means after updating this function stopped working and needed reconfiguring.

    Thanks
