Post_date_gmt problem

I noticed the following situation: when I duplicate a post, the post_date is the current time, as I set it, but in the database, the post_date_gmt of the duplicated post is identical with the initial post. And this creates some problems with other plugins which take the post_date_gmt as a reference point (like mailchimp for creating newsletters, for example). Can you adjust this in a future update, please?
