[post_author] short code produces a number

    Hi,

    Great plugin! Thanks for writing it. I’ve just started using it, and it seems to work perfectly for me.

    Just one question though: the [post_author] short code produces the ID# of the author rather than the name. Conversely, the [comment_author] code produces the name.

    Is there some way to access the Post Author’s name as a string?

    Hi mikado2005,

    You’re right in that it should should be changed to show the post authors name instead.
    I’ll look to fixing it shortly.

    I’ll leave this thread open until a new version containing the change is released.
