• Hey folks!

I’m used feedwordpress to manage a site where a number of teachers post a photo a day, so that other teachers can see and learn from these posts in one place…

It’s working great, BUT some posts strangely come through without any body. The title, etc. come display fine, but the body of the post is blank. If the participant makes an update, this always fixes the problem, but I’m curious how I might either:

    a) hook into the update code to trigger an update from the RSS when the content of the body of a post is blank…

    or

    b) prevent the issue from happening altogether!

Obviously, the second option is preferred, but I think that the first (more hacky) fix would be fine… Any ideas?

  • am facing the same issue as well.
i can see the title of the post well, but the body is blank. readers have been complaining and there’s no fix to this.

What I did was disable “FWP+: add attribution” plugin.

And everything is back to normal.

Hmm, intriguing… Can you tell me more?

Is this an additional plugin for you, or is it a setting in regular old FWP? I don’t have any additional FWP-related plugins installed…

I’d LOVE for everything to be back to normal.

I will try my best but please use it at your own risk.

I think i previously had total cache plugin that removed “category” from permalinks.

Ever since I disable “category” from permalink I start to have issue with empty body.

I disable and reactive feed wordpress plugin.

removed all the posts and re-sync.

    and disable FWP+: add attribution…

    and it works again….

Hope it help… i think it is something to do with Permalinks…..

    “FWP+: add attribution” plugin?

i didn’t even install that plugin
