Post visible only by logged user

    Hi all,

    I use plugin “Posts Table with Search & Sort” (ver.1.3.5) since about two years without problems until some weeks ago.

    Unfortunately my last posts aren’t visible on table by guest users, only the logged user has the visibility of new post.
    For example, the link should be present a table with seven posts but only six are visible by guest users.
    Another issue: I configured “post per page = -1” but this parameter has effect just for logged user, guest user see a table with 50 entry (default).

    Do you know some compatibility issues related to this problem?
    Could you help me to solve it?

    Hi, @sergioni .

    I’m sorry to hear you’re having difficulty with what sounds to be the recent posts on your site not being visible publicly for some reason. Thanks for getting in touch so we can help you sort it out.

    Please note that our plugin merely displays your posts in a dynamic table that you can search and sort. It does not restrict the visibility of your posts in any way (e.g. to only logged in users).

    Hence the issue you’re experiencing is likely due to something else in either the recent posts themselves or by another plugin on your site.

    I suggest that you:

    • Edit the posts that are not displaying in the table and check their Post Visibility setting. Ensure that they are set to be “Public”.
    • Check whether this could be due to a conflict with the theme or another plugin. To test for this, please could you temporarily switch to a default theme (e.g. Twenty Nineteen) and deactivate all non-essential plugins apart from Posts Table with Search & Sort, and see if it resolves the issue. You can then reactivate everything one by one to find out which causes it.

    The new posts have the same visibility settings (public) like the old, probably, like explained by you, some plug-in are in conflict with PT.
    I will follow your hints deactivating not essential plugin one-by-one.

    I will update you on the test results you suggest

    I hope my suggestions help, to test for what might be causing the visibility issue of the latest posts on your site, as well as the Posts per page option being limited to 50 for logged out users, despite having set this as -1 in the Settings > Posts Table with Search and Sort page on your site.
