Post Views Counter reliable?

  • Hello,

    I just posted an article 30 minutes ago and shared it on social media. When i check my counter it says 292 views. But at the same time i have Google Analytics open and didnt see 292 visitors in these 30 minutes. So is Post Views Counter reliable? How does this work?

    There will always be differences between different engines.
    Additionally at the moment we’re using a basic bot/crawler detection which is not very accurate.

    To solve this, the next plugin release will include a more advanced solution.
