Post Views broken and no support

Postviews seems like an amazing feature that I would LOVE to have working. but it seems to be totally broken on the home page. and after many attempts to get support I realize the developers have abandoned the project. No shame to them, it is a free plugin. However, I cannot give it anything but one star as a broken plugin is a broken plugin
