Post via email

  • I followed the instruction, such as they are, to post by email and yet it still doesnt seem to be working. Is there something on the forums that isnt in the admin panel that makes it all fit into place?

    Ok so I reread the instructions and downloaded the WP_Cron plugins and activated them but my emails still dont appear.

    When WP suggest three random strings do you HAVE to use one of those as teh email address or is it just a suggestion?

    Other than that everything appears to be set up as its supposed to be but still no joy.

    Any ideas?

    I know that its not what you’re looking for, but I’d suggest just getting the postie plugin and using that instead. Its fairly easy to set up and supports pictures too (I email posts from my cell phone when I take pictures). I never tried teh WP one since I wanted pictures, but postie worked fairly well for me withouth too much trouble.
