Post via e-mail, problems with images

I’m running WordPress 2.6.1.
I have activated the option of posting via e-mail and as long as the e-mail contains nothing else but text, everything is fine but when I attach a picture to the e-mail it fails to be posted correctly. This is the result of the post:

Is there a setting that I can change or a configuration I can add? I’ve tried to search the forum but I can not find an answer to my problem. I’m sending the e-mail from a Sony Ericsson phone.
