Post Types Order stopped working all of a sudden

  • I installed Post Types Order plugin for reordering the posts according to my order. Today after creating 700+ posts all of a sudden plugin stopped working. When I go to reorder page, I am getting this error – This plugin can’t work without javascript, because it’s use drag and drop and AJAX. Please help me to fix this issue as this plugin is mandatory for me.

    Can you check if your browser javaScript is still active ?
    I suggest to try a different one (e.g. firefox, chrome, internet explorer).
    Or if you see a blank page, this might be caused by a memory limitation, see your server error logs for a specific message.

    Yes I have javascript enabled in my browser. The issue appears in all type of browsers (chrome, firefox, ie). The plugin works correctly for media but when we use for posts, it shows empty page.

    Sorry for late reply.
    I still advise to check the sever error logs, as this should be caused by a server memory limitation.

    Hi, I tested the plugin on my local machine and it’s working but when I installed it in the live website, it’s not working on the client side but yes to the admin dashboard.

    Hi,
    It must be related to a cache on your server, ensure you clear that after order change.
    Also check if you use a CDN service, you will need to clear that cache too.
