Post type problem with update 3.3.2

I had installed a wordpress theme with a built in custom post type named “trips”. When I updated to 3.3.2 it disappeared and now there is a post type named “feedbacks”. What is going on ? This is a customer’s website and I need a solution asap! Please help.
