Post type: Page _and_ Post?

For clarification, I use a plugin that allows me to assign categories to pages. Post_type=”any” gives me no love.

your post type should be named as “animal” and category type as “animal-category” (or animal_category)

I’m not sure I understand what you mean– with most plug-ins, I can use the Post_type of “any” to return both posts and pages; however, it seems I can only show posts OR pages with wp posts carousel. Is this true?

I would like wp posts carousel to show featured images from all posts AND pages in a certain category. What is the easiest way to do this?

Now, you can choose many post types to uses in one carousel.
