This is a very nice plugin, but unfortunately the order of a post gets lost after it’s been edited. I’m using a custom post type.

Please confirm this issue. Thank you

    Hi @sleyer1 !

Thanks for your message. Here is Matthew ??

Can you please share a short screencast video showing the issue? Does this issue also happen for the “Post” post type?

    Regards,
    Matthew

I deleted other similar plugins that have been left installed and now the issue is gone – must have been a plugin conflict. Thanks for the ultra fast support and great plugin, left 5 star review.

Edit: Spoke too fast, issue is still present on some posts for some reason… will keep investigating.

Post ordering is also lost when using Quick Edit.
My workaround for now is to Quick Edit it, then re-drag it in place to prevent loss of position on page refresh. Can share a screencast if you want but all you’ll see is the behavior I’ve described.

Still, I’m not switching plugins as this is the only one which doesn’t prevent sorting on frontend and the UX is quite awesome. I’ll try to deactivate all other plugins to see if it’s a conflict issue.

Issue is present on custom post types as well as on standard posts.
